How To Register With Our Agency

Apple Recruitment has developed a registration process which is as simple as possible and meets with all the requirements of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations N.I. (2005).

If you have submitted your CV through our website you should expect to be contacted by one of our consultants within two working days. If we believe we can help you in your search for employment you will be invited to come in to our offices to complete the registration process in person.

However, as we only work in certain sectors we may inform you that it is unlikely registering with our agency will be beneficial to you, and if we can, we will advise you of better suited agencies to contact.

If asked to register, we need you to come to our office in Belfast to complete our registration forms, have a face to face interview with your nominated consultant and undertake any skills testing which may be necessary.

Our office is open from 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

We do not operate an appointment based system, you are free to call in whenever suits you to register, depending on when your consultant is available.

If you wish to register and have not already submitted your CV to us by email, we need you to bring a copy of it with you to registration (preferably in Word format on a memory stick rather than a paper copy).

In addition to this you will need to bring;

  • Identification in the form of a Passport or Long Birth Certificate. (EEA nationals are permitted to register with a National Identity Card rather than a passport in certain circumstances.)
  • Evidence of your right to work in the United Kingdom (passport, permit or visa)
  • Two written references or full contact details of your two most recent employers.
  • Original certificates of any relevant qualifications.

We would also ask that you dress for registration in a 'business casual' style as a minimum.

Your consultant will discuss with you the type of work you are looking for (temporary, permanent, contract, etc) and your preferred sectors. They will also explain to you how our agency works and what you can expect from us. At registration we will give you full details of all our live jobs which you may be suitable for and advise you of your options.

Temporary Positions in the Civil Service

If you are applying to register for temporary positions in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, in addition to the documents listed above you will also need to bring two documents from the following list;

  • Bank / Building Society Statement
  • Utility Bill
  • Credit Card Statement
  • P45 / P60
  • Access NI Disclosure Certificate (only if less than 6 months old)
  • Payslip with your current address
  • National Insurance No. Card
  • Exam Certificates
  • Personal Correspondence from a Government Department.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
