Accounts Administrator

Due to continued success and growth, my client is seeking an experienced Account Administrator to join their small team in the greater Belfast Area.

This is an award winning business service provider with a strong team culture of team work, development and progression. The Account Administrator can expect to join a growing organisation who will offer training and development opportunities for the right person.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Account Administrator will:

  • Complete checks on customer’s invoices.

  • Credit control.

  • Provide a high level of support to other team members.

  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all queries.

  • Complete tasks set by the Finance Manager.

  • Meeting timed deadlines.

  • Dealing with ad-hoc requests and showing the ability to plan the delivery with minimal disruption.

  • General office administrative duties.

As an experienced Account Administrator, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • A strong working knowledge of an accounting package such as Sage or Xero.

  • Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.

  • A good technical aptitude.

  • Adaptable, positive and a quick learner.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.

  • Ability to work well within a team.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, enthusiastic and a professional telephone manner.
