Assistant Business Analyst

Type: Permanent
Location: Belfast
Salary: £16-19K +

On behalf of our client, a top Northern Ireland organisation, we are seeking an Assistant Business Analyst to join their Belfast based team. The Assistant Business Analyst will assist in the daily operation of the business in the areas of gas transportation services, including application of Network Code processes, facilitating supply competition and regulatory affairs and participate in a 3-year development programme specifically designed for this role. The Assistant will progress to the position of Business Analyst upon successful completion of the program.

This is a career opportunity and we are looking for candidates with the following:

 

Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate or business- related discipline

    OR

  • 3 A-Levels (grade A-C) along with minimum of 1 years’ experience in a relevant business environment

  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office package, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage work load to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently with a methodical approach in a highly demanding environment

  • Ability to operate in a professional and confidential manner at alltimes

     

    Desirable

  • Work experience post degree qualification in an analytical business environment

  • Experience of working with and development of databases

 

This role offers a salary of £16-19k per annum plus company benefits. The post holder can also expect financial rewards upon successful completion of program modules. In addition, the candidate will progress to the position of Business Analyst upon successful completion of the program.
