Assistant Marketing Executive

On behalf of our client, a leading international service solutions provider, we are seeking a Assistant Marketing Executive join their busy Newtownabbey based office.

The Assistant Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of day to day marketing activities including working with a team of account and project managers to support the strategic growth of the business.

Duties include:

1.Assisting in developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives

2.Planning developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns;

3.Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities;

4.Writing copy for marketing collateral, including brochures, press releases, blogs & email campaigns

5.Helping to maintain & update the company’s website to ensure content is fresh relevant & engaging;

6.Develop and manage content based Social Networks & Blog Sites;

7.Implement & execute email campaigns to nurture leads & customers/clients;

8.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications;

9.Generating leads and identifying opportunities for growth;

10.Conducting market research relating to growth opportunities or key markets;

11.Assisting in the production of competitor analysis and reporting;

12.Writing & placing creative job advertisements;

13.Writing PR pieces with the aim of increasing brand awareness;

14.Assisting with the development of strategies and plans to improve client engagement;

15.Using social media & job boards to advertise positions, attract employees and build relationships with clients/customers;

16.Organizing & attending recruitment fairs and exhibitions

17.Identifying & researching various Government Bodies, Educational Establishments and Commercial Enterprises as potential strategic partners

18.Administrative tasks as required

You will need:

·Good general level of education to include at least five GCSE’s (at a minimum of Grade C) to include English and Maths or equivalent.

·A third level qualification in marketing or related subject would be beneficial.

·Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

·A second language would be beneficial but not essential.


The salary is negotiable (£20-25K) and will be based on experience. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 4pm and a work from home option on a Friday (8am-4pm).
