Business Development Consultant- CRM - IT

On behalf of our client, an established local Tech organisation, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Consultant with previous experience in ERP and/or CRM solutions.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Business Development Consultant will, through a consultative selling approach, work to nurture long-lasting relationships with new business and existing clients,

As the Sales Specialist for Northern Ireland and Scotland, you will establish yourself as their trusted IT advisor, driving Microsoft product adoption across the client base.

You will need:

•Third level qualification in a business or related discipline.

•Previous sales experience in ERP / CRM solution

•Hands on knowledge/ understanding with Microsoft Dynamics D365 Business Central (NAV) ERP solution

•Knowledge / understanding of Microsoft Dynamics D365 for Sale and the Power Platform

•Demonstrable experience of communicating directly with Chief Executives and key decision makers

• A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales and revenue targets.

• Evident drive to establish new business pipelines and sales.

• Demonstrable experience of new account development.

• Effective relationship building skills, and a demonstrable ability to develop long-term client relationships.

• Evident negotiation and communication skills.

• Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle for business use.

• Ability to travel throughout the UK as required.

• Ability to live and work in the UK.


The Sales Specialist will:

•Identify new business and cross sell opportunities to achieve on targets.

•Work with prospects and existing customers to build relationships, creating the opportunity to effectively sell solutions through to closure.

•Work closely with a team of consultants to prepare proposals, demonstrations, presentations, and attend face to face client appointments across Northern Ireland.

•Efficiently manage and continuously develop a healthy and consistent new business pipeline.

•Take a structured and methodical approach to understanding a customer's requirements, offering effective digital solutions.

•Through effective sales conversations, identify potential cross-sell opportunities for other key pillars of the business (eg. Cloud/MIT solutions).
