Junior Contracts Officer

On behalf of our client, a UK wide Property Management Consultancy that providing land and environmental services to an enviable list of clients, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Contracts Officer or Wayleave Officer.

This is an entry level position and as a Junior Contracts Officer, you can expect full training and guidance from a training academy and line managers however you will need to demonstrate a number of attributes.

Reporting to your Line Manager, you will assist Clients in securing consents for projects. You will be the primary contact for landowners impacted by our Clients proposed work, drafting and issuing required documentation and liaising with them to secure agreements where needed. This role will entail site visits and offer a flexible work from home pattern. The Officer will need to be able to travel to the office in Greater Belfast as well as sites throughout Northern Ireland.

Duties include:

1. Proactive engagement with landowners using various forms of communication (letters, phone calls, site visits or virtual meetings) to secure the consents required

2. Provide clear updates to Client's progress reports and, where appropriate, provide additional support and advice to build positive relationships with Client teams

3. Attending ad-hoc project calls and project reviews with the Client as required

4. Taking a solution and proactive based approach to resolving issues

5. Maintain accurate stakeholder records tracking progress and for escalation purposes, providing clear and concise records with supporting photographs (if required)

6. Working in line with Client-set timeframes and targets to ensure the programme is delivered

You will need:

·Previous client facing experience in property, construction, utilities or M & E is desirable.

·Full UK driving licence

·The ability to attend meetings within Northern Ireland.

·A willingness to learn and apply new skills in a new work environment with opportunities for progression

·A basic understanding of Outlook, Microsoft Office and a readiness to learn more

·A desire to work within a team to meet deadlines, achieve goals and deliver Clients needs
