On behalf of our client, a growing Northern Ireland organisation with an excellent reputation, we are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to cover a maternity contract of approx. 12 months.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organisation and should another suitable position arise, the post holder will be offered this opportunity. The company also operate a reserve list, candidates can be considered for any similar suitable opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Marketing Manager will join a growing team and beresponsible for the development and implementation of marketing activities, budgets and performance.

Based in Antrim Town and working Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30- 3.45, you can expect a starting salary of around £37000 plus a personal award of up to 15% of your annual .As a company employee you will also be entitled to a great range of benefits including:

As the Marketing Manager you will:

1. Accountable for development and delivery of the annual integrated marketing plan in line with agreed targets (inc. sales connection targets & brand targets) and budgets

2. Liaise closely with internal teams, ensuring that marketing activities are targeted appropriately and are relevant to chosen audiences

3. Ensure that all marketing activity fits and builds the brand reputation

4. Demonstrate a broad understanding of the full range of marketing disciplines

5. In-depth knowledge and understanding of Public Relations and Public Affairs both offline and online to strengthen brand reputation

6. Develop a website and social media strategy by developing and maintaining various platforms with updated and engaging content

7. Manage, coach, mentor and develop marketing team, including identifying and delivery of team training needs, carry out effective 1:1s and effective performance management

8. Motivate team to achieve optimum performance

9. Identifying KPIs and producing timely performance reports for the Director of Sales, Marketing & Customer Services as required

10. Accountable for day to day management of all marketing agency activities including advertising, public relations, events, website, social media and market research

11. Communicating rationales and plans to the wider business

12. Act as role model to promote, develop and maintain a culture of teamwork both within own area and across all internal teams

You will need:

·A degree in Marketing or relevant marketing related discipline, and knowledge of all aspects of marketing disciplines

·Proven experience in managing and leading a high performing and motivated team to deliver against targets and objectives

·Previous proven experience in setting and managing budgets in all areas of marketing operations

·Demonstrate previous experience in delivering sales targets through marketing techniques

·Highly computer and web literate, with excellent IT skills and a strong knowledge of digital platforms

·Experience in management of marketing agencies

Desirable criteria:

·Digital Marketing Qualification

·Professional CIM membership or equivalent
