Sales Executive- residential- energy

On behalf of our client, a growing Northern Ireland organisation with an excellent reputation, we are seeking a self-motivated Sales Executive to join their residential sales department and cover the Derry/ Londonderry area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organisation that have a strategic business plan as well as an employee development scheme.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Energy Advisor will join the growing Residential Sales team to develop Owner Occupiers in the Derry/ Londonderry area.

This is primarily a Field Based role and core hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30- 3.45 however the Energy Advisor many need to attend appointments outside of these hours or attend promotional events in the evenings and at the weekend (although these are on hold at the moment). The Energy Advisor can expect a starting salary of around £27000 plus a bonus structure of up to 25% of your salary. The Sales Advisor will also have a company car or car allowance etc.

As the Residential Energy advisor you will:

1. Acquisition of Owner Occupier customers for firmus energy, and management of subsequent switching process

2. Project manage conversion schemes

3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the installer network

4. Create and follow up on sales opportunities within agreed timescales and update details on the CRM system

5. Responsible for completing all necessary administration required to produce project and customer handover packs

6. Economic evaluation of projects using in house computer based appraisal system (IUS)

7. Identification of target areas for potential network development and marketing activities

8. Represent the company at formal and informal meetings with internal and external stakeholders such as residents’ groups, installers, trade shows and events

You will need:

·Previous relevant sales experience with a successful track record in a direct sales role

·High level of computer literacy, including MS Office, and previous working knowledge of a CRM system

·Full UK driving licence

·Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload efficiently

·Ability to present in group situations

You should also demonstrate:

·Have good organisational and time management skills

·Have a positive attitude

·Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

·Possess drive and initiative, and be comfortable working to and achieving agreed sales targets

·Have a flexible approach to working and be willing to become proficient in all areas of sales operations
