Employment Relations Directorate is working to develop a framework for employers and employees
which promotes a skilled and flexible labour market founded on principles of partnership. It
deals with relationships between workers and their employers, including individual rights as well
as collective arrangements.
Recruitment & Employment Confederation
REC is the body representing the £23 billion recruitment industry. With 6,000 corporate members
and 5,000 individual members we are recruitment's biggest voice. All our members
adhere to our Code of Good Recruitment Practice developed to ensure jobseekers
and employers receive the highest recruitment standards.
Department of Employment & Learning
The Department is one of the key channels through which the Northern Ireland
Executive is working towards a vision of a peaceful, inclusive, prosperous, stable
and fair society.It is responsible for third level education, training and a range of employment
measures, all aimed at giving people the skills, knowledge and opportunities to
work.
Equality Commission for Northern Ireland
The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland is an independent public body established under the
Northern Ireland Act 1998. The Commission's general duties include: working towards
the elimination of discrimination; promoting equality of opportunity and encouraging
good practice; promoting affirmative / positive action; promoting good relations
between people of different racial groups; overseeing the implementation and
effectiveness of the statutory duty on public authorities.
Global Travel Training
Global Travel Training runs courses specifically tailored to the travel industry but do not require any prior knowledge. They are high quality, flexible, home-study training courses, internationally recognized by the IATA. Upon successful completion students will be able to secure a travel position anywhere in the world.
Belfast Metropolitan College
Belfast Institute has merged with Castlereagh College to form Belfast Metropolitan College. The new college provides a regional further and higher education service for the Belfast area. It is one of the largest colleges in the UK, offering more choices, opportunities and facilities to all its students
