<h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Apple Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for a </span><b>Clerical Officer</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> based in Lisburn.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to join a busy team, providing front-line customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced office environment.</span></p>
<h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide front-line customer service at the reception and customer counter.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Deliver administrative support to senior members of the team.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Respond to customer enquiries professionally, both in person and over the telephone.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Carry out general clerical duties, including filing, data entry and record management.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain accurate records using a range of IT systems.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist with a variety of administrative tasks as required to support the wider team.</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Essential Criteria</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Applicants should have:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Previous administrative or clerical experience.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Intermediate IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office applications.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication and customer service skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Basic Access NI clearance (required prior to commencement).</span></li>

<h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2>

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify training needs and assist in sourcing, delivering and evaluating learning interventions.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain accurate employee training records and produce management reports as required.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support talent management, succession planning and workforce development initiatives.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist in delivering employee engagement and wellbeing programmes, staff surveys and engagement events.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coordinate internal communications, employee recognition initiatives and corporate events.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prepare reports, committee papers and other documentation as required.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, organisational policies and relevant governance requirements.</span></li>

<h2><b>Essential Criteria</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Applicants must have:</span></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A relevant Level 4 qualification (or above) in a business-related subject.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) at Associate, Chartered or Fellow level.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><b>OR</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Applicants without the above qualifications may be considered if they can demonstrate a minimum of </span><b>4 years&#8217; relevant Organisation Development experience</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and are willing to work towards achieving the CIPD qualification as part of their continuing professional development.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Applicants must also demonstrate:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At least </span><b>2 years&#8217; experience</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in an Organisation Development role, including:</span>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Designing and delivering employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Using learning and development methodologies, including eLearning and innovative learning practices.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Improving internal communications across an organisation.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Researching information and producing reports with recommendations.</span></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong IT and analytical skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good working knowledge of Human Resources and Organisation Development.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A full current driving licence or access to suitable transport to fulfil the duties of the role.</span></li>
