<li>Ensure payroll information is processed accurately and within agreed timescales.</li>

<p>VAT &amp; Compliance</p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and submit VAT returns.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with relevant HMRC requirements and deadlines.</li>
<li>Assist clients with requests for financial information and documentation.</li>
</ul>
<p>Client Service</p>
<ul>
<li>Liaise directly with clients regarding financial records and queries.</li>
<li>Build and maintain positive client relationships.</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to the wider accountancy team as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The Person</strong></p>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualification (AAT, IATI, Accounting Technician or similar).</li>
<li>Previous experience in an accountancy practice, bookkeeping, accounts administration or finance role.</li>
<li>Experience processing payroll.</li>
<li>Experience preparing bank reconciliations.</li>
<li>Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
<li>Strong organisational and time-management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></p>

<li>Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar.</li>
<li>Experience working directly with a portfolio of clients.</li>

Essential Criteria</p>

<li>Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Professional accountancy or internal audit qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or CIA), or currently working towards one.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; internal audit experience.</li>
<li>Experience preparing audit working papers and draft reports to a professional standard.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of internal audit standards, principles and best practice.</li>
<li>Good understanding of risk management, governance and internal control frameworks.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>

Solutions Supervisor to join their growing team.</p>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced heating, building services or energy professional to<br />
play a key role in delivering low-carbon heating and energy efficiency solutions to homeowners<br />
across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will oversee projects from initial customer enquiry<br />
through to installation completion, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, technical<br />
excellence and quality delivery.</p>
<p>Please note: This is a fully office and field-based role. There is no opportunity for home working or<br />
hybrid working, and applicants must be willing to work on-site and travel as required.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />
The Domestic Energy Solutions Supervisor will manage the complete customer journey for<br />
homeowners undertaking low-carbon heating and energy efficiency improvements.<br />
Acting as the primary point of contact throughout the process, you will carry out property surveys,<br />
design tailored solutions, prepare quotations, coordinate installations and supervise delivery teams<br />
and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Property Surveys &amp; Technical Assessments</li>
<li>Undertake detailed surveys of domestic properties.</li>
<li>Gather and record technical data, measurements and property information.</li>
<li>Assess suitability for low-carbon heating and energy efficiency improvements.</li>
<li>Identify technical, operational and customer-related risks and develop appropriate solutions.</li>
<li>Solution Design &amp; Quotation Preparation</li>
</ul>
<p>o Develop tailored recommendations based on survey findings.<br />
o Prepare quotations, specifications and scopes of work.<br />
o Present and explain proposed solutions clearly to homeowners.<br />
o Support customers through the decision-making process.</p>
<ul>
<li>Project Planning &amp; Coordination</li>
</ul>
<p>o Manage projects from approval through to completion.<br />
o Coordinate resources, schedules and installation activities.<br />
o Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales.</p>
<ul>
<li>Installation Oversight &amp; Quality Assurance</li>
</ul>
<p>o Provide technical support and supervision to engineers and contractors.<br />
o Monitor installation quality and compliance with industry standards and best practice.<br />
o Carry out post-installation inspections.<br />
o Resolve defects, issues or customer concerns promptly and professionally.</p>
<ul>
<li>Contractor &amp; Supplier Management</li>
</ul>
<p>o Monitor contractor performance, productivity and workmanship.</p>
<p>o Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety requirements.<br />
o Maintain effective working relationships with contractors and delivery partners.</p>
<ul>
<li>Customer Experience</li>
</ul>
<p>o Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.<br />
o Respond to customer queries, complaints and concerns in a professional manner.<br />
o Build positive and lasting customer relationships.</p>

<li>Performance &amp;  Continuous Improvement</li>
</ul>
<p>o Maintain accurate survey, quotation and project records.<br />
o Prepare management reports as required.<br />
o Identify opportunities to increase the uptake of low-carbon and energy efficiency solutions.<br />
o Keep up to date with industry developments, technologies, regulations and funding opportunities.</p>
<p><strong>The Person. You will need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Full UK driving licence.</li>
<li>Relevant Level 3 qualification (or above) in Plumbing &amp; Heating, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience in:</li>
<li>Surveying domestic properties.</li>
<li>Installing domestic heating systems and energy efficiency measures.</li>
<li>Preparing technical quotations and specifications.</li>
<li>Supervising engineers and contractors.</li>
<li>Dealing directly with homeowners.</li>
<li>Strong technical understanding of domestic heating systems and building fabric.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.</li>
<li>Strong planning, organisational and project management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to lead installation teams and monitor quality standards.</li>
<li>Good commercial awareness and experience preparing accurate quotations.</li>
<li>Competent in Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable Criteria but not essential:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience within the domestic renewables sector.</li>
<li>Heat Pump Association or MCS-related training.</li>
<li>Project Management qualification.</li>
<li>Health &amp; Safety qualification.</li>
<li>Knowledge of low-carbon heating systems, solar PV and smart controls.</li>
<li>Understanding of SAP, EPCs and domestic energy assessments.</li>
</ul>
