<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a varied and customer-focused role, supporting the administration of memberships, bookings, and leisure services, while acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries. The successful candidates will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of parks and leisure services.</span></p>

<h3><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Manage and process leisure membership enquiries, applications, amendments, and cancellations</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">• Act as first point of contact for customer queries via phone, email, and live chat</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />

<h3><b>Essential Criteria:</b></h3>

Visitor Experience Officers are usually the first-person visitors will meet in Parliament Buildings.<br />

 Working closely with colleagues within the Visitor Experience team and being flexible and<br />

 Building and maintaining good relationships with colleagues from other business areas and<br />

 Managing electronic mailboxes, phone calls and dealing with routine correspondence<br />
accurately and promptly and forwarding to relevant staff as appropriate.<br />

 Complying with the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission’s (the Assembly Commission’s)<br />

 Carrying out other duties that the Assembly Commission reasonably requires of you.</p>
<p>Work Pattern:<br />
The duties of this post require attendance at Parliament Buildings on each working day. There may<br />
be occasional scope for working at home, subject to business need and at the discretion of the Head<br />
of Business.<br />
The standard working week is 37 hours (excluding meal breaks) across 5 days, Monday to Saturday.<br />
The hours of work each day will be scheduled between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Working hours will be<br />
dictated by the mode of operation of the Northern Ireland Assembly (the Assembly) and will involve<br />
work into late evenings and on occasion, public holidays. You will also be required to work such<br />
additional hours as may from time to time be reasonable and necessary for the efficient performance<br />
of your duties. The Assembly Commission will provide at least 10 working days’ notice of your work<br />
pattern for each week. As far as reasonably possible, you will be provided with 3 working days’<br />
notice of required overtime.<br />
Uniform:<br />
Visitor Experience Officers will be supplied with a Visitor Experience Team Uniform including;<br />
Trousers, T-shirt and Gillet.<br />

This is a vital operational support role ensuring emergency vehicles and equipment are fully prepared, clean, stocked, safe, and ready for frontline deployment.</p>
<p><b><u>Make Ready Duties </u></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to ensuring the highest standards of environmental cleanliness within designated area of work Contribute to the readiness of the NIAS fleet by ensuring vehicles are stocked, cleaned, in good state of repair and road worthy Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained both in the interior and exterior of vehicles in line with agreed standards  Ensure on-board equipment such as medical devices are clean, functioning and in good state of repair  Drive / move vehicles within and between stations to facilitate cleaning / decontamination Undertake Vehicle Daily Inspection (VDI) checks on lights, wiper blades, fluid levels etc and report defects / organise repair where appropriate Ensure clinical response bags are appropriately stocked to agreed levels Liaise with Station Officer / Supervisor daily to ensure optimum service delivery Ensure that cleaning equipment is clean, in good state of repair and stored correctly whilst not in use Dispose of waste / sharps in accordance with NIAS policy and procedure. Replenish household / clinical waste as required Identify areas where improvement is required and promote innovation where possible To monitor / replenish supplies within each operational vehicle / stock room while ensuring stock rotation is in place</li>
</ul>
<p>Ensure equipment is in good state of repair and report any defects / missing property</p>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p>
<p>3 GCSEs or equivalent, including English Language (Grades A-C/9-4) and 1 years’</p>
<p>Experience within a service discipline or department such Support Services.</p>
<p><b>OR</b></p>
<p>Relevant vocational qualification e.g. NVQ/QCF/RQF (Level 2) and 1 year experience within a service discipline or department such Support Services.</p>
<p><b>OR</b></p>
<p>Worked for at least 3 years where you have gained experience within a service discipline or department such Support Services.</p>
<ul>
<li>Currently hold a Category C1 driving licence OR present evidence of attainment of a Category C1 driving licence prior to commencement of the post Be willing to work shifts including evening, weekends and public holidays</li>
