<p>This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2026 with the possibility of extension.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator to join a busy Accounts and Property Management team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and accounts support, assisting with invoice processing, maintaining accurate records, responding to enquiries and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the<br />
department.</p>
<p>The role would suit someone with previous experience in administration, accounts support, customer service or office administration who is looking to gain valuable experience within a professional and fast-paced environment.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />
The Accounts Administrator will support the Accounts and Property Management teams by processing information accurately, maintaining records, handling enquiries and assisting with general administrative duties.</p>
<p>This is a varied role requiring excellent organisation, strong attention to detail and a professional approach when dealing with clients, residents and contractors.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Accurately input invoice information into the company&#8217;s ERP system.</li>
<li>Respond to contractor enquiries by telephone and email, including invoice and account-related queries.</li>
<li>Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and the wider team.</li>
<li>Handle incoming calls from clients, residents and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.</li>
<li>Process and maintain client information accurately and confidentially.</li>
<li>Carry out general data entry, database maintenance, scanning, filing and document management duties.</li>
<li>Escalate complex queries to the appropriate team members when required.</li>
<li>Support the efficient operation of the Accounts and Property Management functions.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and ensure information is up to date.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in an administrative, accounts administration, customer service or office support role.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.</li>
<li>Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.</li>
<li>Professional telephone manner and excellent written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to organise workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.</li>

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating street works activities, managing noticing and permit applications, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and acting as a key liaison between internal teams, contractors and<br />

<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />
The Street Works Coordinator will oversee street works noticing and permit processes, ensuring all activities are completed within required timescales and in accordance with legislative requirements.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, support continuous improvement initiatives and provide leadership to a Customer Advisor within the team.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage all street works notices, registrations and closures within required timescales using relevant street works systems.</li>
<li>Submit and coordinate permit applications, early starts, variations, modifications and traffic management arrangements.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all relevant street works legislation, regulations and codes of practice.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and update systems in line with agreed service standards and KPIs.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with government departments, utility providers, contractors and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Coordinate street works activities across internal departments and external delivery partners.</li>
<li>Line manage and support a Customer Advisor, including coaching, performance management and development planning.</li>
<li>Support the implementation of new systems, processes and operational improvements.</li>
<li>Produce management reports on street works performance and compliance.</li>
<li>Assist with the development and implementation of procedures and best practice standards.</li>
<li>Provide support and cover across other areas of Customer Services as required</li>
<li>Champion customer-focused service delivery and support vulnerability awareness initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade C or above.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years&#8217; experience coordinating street works using Symology and processing permit applications through the DFI Permit Application System.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of the legislative framework governing street works in Northern Ireland.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.</li>
<li>Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet challenging deadlines.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Street Works or Traffic Management qualification.</li>
<li>Experience working within utilities, infrastructure or the energy sector.</li>
<li>Experience within a planning and scheduling environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Aurora or similar street works management systems.</li>
<li>Previous experience coaching, supporting or supervising colleagues.</li>

<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />
The Customer Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day customer service operations, managing customer enquiries and complaints, supporting team development and producing performance reports to help drive operational excellence.</p>
<p>The role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual with strong leadership skills, experience managing customer service teams and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Lead, motivate and support the Customer Services team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.</li>

<li>Support training, compliance and vulnerability awareness activities within the team.</li>

<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade C or above, or a minimum of four year&#8217;s supervisory and leadership experience within a customer service or contact centre environment.</li>
<li>At least three year&#8217;s management experience within a contact centre or customer service environment.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing customer complaints and escalated customer issues.</li>
<li>Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.</li>
<li>Strong performance management and coaching experience.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret service data and performance metrics.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customer service systems.</li>
<li>Ability to build effective working relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.</li>
</ul>

<p>Apple Recruitment Services are currently seeking an experienced SO Accountant to join the Finance team of a public sector organisation, supporting its Environment and Marine Sciences Division (EMSD).</p>
<p><strong>Both fully professionally qualified accountants and candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered for the role. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Duties will include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Providing high-quality, accurate and timely financial information to a range of stakeholders.</li>
<li>Preparing regular financial reports for senior management.</li>
<li>Providing expert advice and guidance to budget holders on budgeting and in-year monitoring of expenditure.</li>
<li>Establishing and maintaining close and effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Assisting with the preparation of financial forecasts and costing of research and business development opportunities.</li>
<li>Providing advice and guidance to safeguard public funds and ensure they are managed with probity, regularity and best value for money.</li>
<li>Maintaining appropriate systems of internal control and governance frameworks.</li>
<li>Supporting the development of relevant financial policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assisting with the development and implementation of financial systems to support financial management and reporting processes.</li>
<li>Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of current public expenditure planning, monitoring, control and accountability systems.</li>
<li>Assisting in the preparation of annual accounts and liaising with auditors as required.</li>
<li>Promoting high standards of accountability, integrity and probity.</li>
<li>Providing professional financial advice to support effective decision-making.</li>
<li>Carrying out any other duties appropriate to the role as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>

<p><strong>Have successfully passed the final professional examinations and be a full current member of one of the professional bodies detailed below:</strong></p>

<li>Chartered Accountants Ireland;</li>
<li>The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland;</li>
<li>The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales;</li>
<li>The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants;</li>
<li>The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants;</li>
<li>The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy;</li>
<li>The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>OR </strong></p>
<p>Have at least a total of 1 year’s practical experience in one or more of the following areas:</p>
<ul>
<li>Financial planning and budgeting; <strong>OR</strong></li>
<li>Financial Management / Management Accounting; <strong>OR</strong></li>
<li>Financial Accounting/Auditing; <strong>OR</strong></li>

</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">• Strong understanding of public sector frameworks and contracts, including social housing, local authorities, schools, and housing associations</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">• Experience with Schedule of Rates (SOR) pricing, including PSA schedules</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />
