Job Title: Warehouse Operatives – Assemblers & Forklift Drivers (Night Shift)
Location: Mallusk, Newtownabbey
Duration: Full-time, permanent opportunities available (initial temporary contract during training)
Salary: £12.71 – £13.02 per hour basic, with potential to earn up to £17.58 per hour
Working Pattern:
Assemblers
- Sunday – Thursday | 6:00pm – 2:00am
or - Monday – Friday | 6:00pm – 2:00am
Forklift Drivers
- Sunday – Thursday | 6:00pm – 4:00am (4 x 10-hour shifts)
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Assemblers and Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team in Mallusk, Newtownabbey. During the initial training period, you will be employed on a temporary contract with full mentoring and support. Permanent contracts and an excellent benefits package are available following successful completion of training.
The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently by assembling customer orders or operating warehouse equipment safely and effectively, while working to productivity and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
Assemblers
- Assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Work to productivity and quality targets
- Support the smooth operation of the warehouse
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Forklift Drivers
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload and move stock throughout the warehouse
- Support warehouse operations and stock replenishment
- Carry out duties in line with health and safety procedures
About You
The successful candidates will be reliable, motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Criteria
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Ability to work to targets in a busy warehouse environment
- For Forklift Driver roles, a valid Forklift licence and relevant experience is essential
