Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner (L&OD BP)
Location: Lisburn
Duration: Up to 3 months, with the possibility of extension
Salary: £21.78 per hour

Apple Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for an experienced Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner to join their team at their headquarters in Lisburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Learning and Organisational Development professional to provide specialist advice and support, contribute to strategic projects and help deliver organisational development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with business areas to identify and address Learning and Organisational Development needs.
- Lead and contribute to projects supporting the organisation’s Learning & Organisational Development and People Strategies.
- Support organisational change management, culture and values initiatives.
- Undertake research, data analysis and Learning Needs Analysis to inform the development of appropriate interventions.
- Design, develop and deliver learning and leadership programmes.
- Support the delivery of accredited learning programmes and undertake assessor responsibilities.
- Contribute to performance management initiatives and the development of digital learning solutions.
- Manage budgets, procurement processes and contracts relating to Learning and Organisational Development.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Provide HR-related support, including input to policies, procedures and responses to information requests.
- Prepare statistics, reports and information for working groups and other relevant forums.
Essential Criteria Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a Learning and Development or Organisational Development role, providing specialist advice.
- Experience in the design, development and delivery of Learning and Organisational Development interventions.
- An understanding of organisational dynamics, change management, HR policies and standard operating procedures.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
- Experience of conducting Learning Needs Analysis and evaluating training interventions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of project management and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong IT skills, including experience using digital software and learning solutions.
- A full current UK driving licence or access to transport to meet the requirements of the post.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within local government or the public sector.
- A recognised teaching or training qualification.
- An Assessor or Internal Verifier qualification.
