Administrator
Lisburn £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Permanent, Full-Time

Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of a well-established and growing professional services firm based in Lisburn.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator who enjoys a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. Working within a friendly and supportive office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business by providing high-quality administrative and customer support.

This position would suit someone who enjoys organisation, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and thrives in a professional office environment.

The successful candidate will become an integral member of the team, supporting a variety of administrative functions while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)

The Role
As Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support functions while acting as a professional first point of contact for clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the wider team.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and telephone enquiries.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Preparing and issuing client documentation and correspondence.
  • Supporting client onboarding processes and maintaining client records.
  • Assisting with HMRC and Government Gateway administrative processes.
  • Liaising with clients regarding documentation and information requests.
  • Processing, scanning and filing confidential documents.
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail across all administrative tasks.
  • Supporting general office operations and ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative projects as required.

About You
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who can work effectively in a busy office environment and provide first-class administrative support.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in an Administration, Office Administrator, Receptionist, Customer Service or similar office based role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional and confident communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional approach with a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working within a professional services, financial services or accountancy environment.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with HMRC or Government Gateway administration.
  • Experience maintaining client records and documentation.
