Customer Advisor- Planning Department

Location: Greater Belfast Area, BT3. Please note this organisation does not offer a work from home/ hybrid option.

Duration: Permanent. You will need to be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

 

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Customer Advisor to work as part of the Support Services team within the Customer Services department The Customer Advisor will be responsible for recording customer and job request details on company systems and initiating appropriate responses in line with defined business processes to deliver excellent customer service, paying particular attention to safety, sales, and service standards.

 

The job involves a diverse range of tasks, including providing general administrative support, planning new connections, processing Dial Before You Dig requests from utilities, verifying documentation, and inputting data.

 

You will need:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (Grade A-C) or equivalent to include English and Maths at Grade C or above
  • At least one year’s experience working within a customer service environment and dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • At least one year’s administrative experience.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative without supervision.
  • Ability to multitask various activities.
  • Excellent communication skills including a polite & friendly telephone manner.

 

Starting salary: £22,630 per annum with two 6 monthly increases taking salary to £23,630 per annum.

Hours 37 hours per week. You will start work at 8.30am Monday to Friday, finishing at 5.00pm with 1 evening until 7pm per week as overtime.
