Job Description

Job Title: Customer Advisor- Planning Department
Location: Greater Belfast Area, BT3. Please note this organisation does not offer a work from home/
hybrid option.
Duration: Permanent. You will need to be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
Hours 37 hours per week. You will start work at 8.30am Monday to Friday, finishing at 5.00pm with 1
evening until 7pm per week as overtime.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Customer Advisor to work as part of the Support
Services team within the Customer Services department.
The Customer Advisor will be responsible for recording customer and job request details on company
systems and initiating appropriate responses in line with defined business processes to deliver
excellent customer service. The Customer Advisor will pay particular attention to health and safety,
business growth, and service delivery standards.
The job involves various tasks, including providing general administrative support, planning asset
maintenance jobs and new connections, processing customer requests, verifying documentation, and
inputting data into our management asset system.
The post holder will also be responsible for inbound and outbound customer contacts regarding gas
emergencies, asset maintenance programme updates, and other business-related enquiries.
You will need:
 Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (Grade A-C) or equivalent to include English and Maths at Grade C or
above (Certificates/ proof of will need to be provided at offer stage)
 At least one year’s experience working within a customer service environment and dealing
with telephone enquiries.
 At least one year’s administrative experience.
 Excellent IT skills.
 Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative without supervision.
 Ability to multitask various activities.
 Excellent communication skills including a polite & friendly telephone manner.
 Please note this is a permanent role and applicants will need to have a permanent right to
work/ indefinite leave to remain.

Salary: £24,753.50 per annum with two 6 monthly increases taking salary to £25,753.50 per annum
