Driver / Warehouse Operative – Band 4 and Band 3
Location: Boucher Crescent, Belfast
Salary: Band 3 / Band 4
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
Duration: Temporary, 6–12 months
Working Pattern: On-site, with multi-drop deliveries across hospitals throughout Northern Ireland

Apple Recruitment are currently recruiting for Driver / Warehouse Operatives at Band 3 and Band 4 on behalf of our public sector client. These are urgent temporary opportunities for suitably qualified drivers to support warehouse and hospital delivery operations across Northern Ireland.
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering loaded roll cages from the warehouse at Boucher Crescent to hospitals throughout Northern Ireland. The role involves loading and unloading vehicles and transferring roll cages from the vehicle into designated hospital delivery zones. Drivers will not be required to unload the cages beyond these delivery zones.
Two Band 4 positions and one Band 3 position are available.
Key Duties
- Deliver loaded roll cages from the warehouse at Boucher Crescent to hospitals throughout Northern Ireland.
- Complete multi-drop delivery routes safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles as part of the delivery process.
- Transfer roll cages from the vehicle into designated hospital delivery zones.
- Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Comply with road safety requirements, driving regulations and relevant transport procedures.
- Maintain valid driver documentation and ensure CPC and tachograph requirements are up to date.
- Represent the organisation professionally when dealing with hospital staff and other stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
Band 4 – 2 vacancies
- Hold a valid C1+E driving licence.
- Hold an up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Hold a valid, up-to-date tachograph card.
- Be able to undertake multi-drop deliveries throughout Northern Ireland.
- Be capable of loading and unloading vehicles and moving roll cages into designated delivery zones.
Band 3 – 1 vacancy
- Hold a valid Category C driving licence.
- Hold an up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Hold a valid, up-to-date tachograph card.
- Be able to undertake multi-drop deliveries throughout Northern Ireland.
- Be capable of loading and unloading vehicles and moving roll cages into designated delivery zones.
