Job Description

Job Title: HR Advisor – Systems
Location: Antrim Civic Centre (with potential requirement to work across other Council sites)
Duration: Temporary contract until 28th November 2025, with potential for extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Pay Rate: £16.37 per hour + holiday pay, paid weekly

On behalf of our client, Apple Recruitment Services are seeking a skilled HR Advisor – Systems to join their Organisation Development Department. This key role supports the HR Systems and Analytics function by delivering high-quality administrative and data processing support. You’ll be helping to maintain data integrity, provide system support, generate reports, and ensure the effective running of key HR systems and compliance processes.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain HR Information and Time Management Systems, supporting functionality, access, and data accuracy.

  • Provide first-line support and training for managers and staff using HR systems.

  • Prepare and distribute detailed management reports on leave, attendance, and other workforce metrics.

  • Administer the Childcare Voucher Scheme, HR invoicing, agency rate updates, and ensure GDPR compliance in records.

  • Assist in responding to FOI requests and coordinate contractor meetings.

  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to improve processes and troubleshoot system issues.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C) including English and Maths OR minimum of 4 years’ relevant administrative experience.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in:

    • Data input and report production

    • Responding to stakeholder queries

  • Excellent planning, organisation, and team collaboration skills

  • High level of confidentiality and ability to work independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with computerised HR systems

  • Full current driving licence or access to transport suitable for job duties

  • Flexibility to work evenings where required
