Job Title: Internal Audit Supervisor (Band 6)
Location: Belfast (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £33,706 – £40,588
Contract: Temporary , Full-Time 6 months (initially)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced auditor ready to take on a leadership role? Join a well-established Internal Audit team supporting public sector services. This opportunity offers hybrid working and the chance to lead high-quality audit assignments that influence operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple audit assignments from planning to reporting

Supervise and support audit staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training

Liaise with stakeholders to manage sensitive and complex audit discussions

Deliver work in line with Government Internal Audit Standards

Identify value-adding recommendations for improved risk management and control
Essential Criteria:
-
Qualified as a Certified Internal Auditor or part-qualified with a CCAB/CIMA body and 2+ years’ experience in audit/finance
or 4+ years’ experience in internal audit -
A full UK driving licence (reasonable adjustments considered)

Excellent communication, supervisory, and time management skills
