Hours: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary range: £37,000 – £43,000

Role Overview
The Joinery Estimator will prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for bespoke joinery, fit‑out, and manufacturing projects. Working closely with design, production, and project management teams, the successful candidate will ensure quotations align with manufacturing methods, materials, and installation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, specifications, and scope of works
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, subcontractors, and installation
- Measure quantities from drawings and specifications
- Liaise with design and production teams on buildability and manufacturing approaches
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare structured, accurate tender submissions
- Identify risks, exclusions, and value‑engineering opportunities
- Participate in internal tender review meetings
- Maintain organised tender files and estimating data
- Support project teams with cost information during handover
Candidate Requirements
- Experience estimating bespoke joinery, cabinetry, or interior fit‑out projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes and materials
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- Strong communication and liaison skills
- Must be eligible to work in the UK, as no sponsorship is available for this position on a permanent basis
