Part time Customer Service Administrator- Ecommerce

Location: Belfast City Centre  

Hours: 21.75 per week, split equally over Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The company operate a flexible start time between 8am and 9am. Lunch break of 1 hour

Salary: An hourly rate of £12.75

On behalf of our client, a growing Northern Ireland organisation with a global footprint, we have a new opportunity for an energetic and friendly individual to join their team as a Ecommerce Customer Service Administrator on a part time, permanent basis.

This role is based in and office in Belfast City Centre, close to public transport and car parking and is in a modern office with excellent facilities including an on-site gym and break out room.

Reporting to the Ecommerce Customer Service Manager and collaborating with other teams, this is a varied role requiring professional customer service, administration and multi-tasking skills.

Duties include:

  • Handling customer service enquiries from various channels, including websites, social media, marketplaces, email, telephone and live chat
  • Maintaining our high standard of customer service and service ratings
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing information on products advice (training and support will be provided)
  • Working across the business to resolve issues and provide feedback to improve the services
  • Invoice and order processing for ecommerce group
  • General administrative support
  • Handling reporting and processes through Microsoft Office

We are seeking an individual who would like to make a valuable contribution to this long-established commercial organisation and the post holder can expect to join an organisation that values its employees.

You will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service role, ideally within an ecommerce or multi-channel environment
  • The ability to manage customer queries and complaints in a professional, empathetic and solution-focused manner
  • A professional telephone etiquette
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high standard of spelling and grammar
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Confidence while independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word) for reporting and communication
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes
  • A willingness to work on-site the office three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
