Job Description

Job Title: Customer Advisor- Planning Department

Location: Greater Belfast Area, BT3.

Duration: Permanent. You will need to be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

Hours 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm with 1 evening until 7pm per week as overtime or a later start.

On behalf of our client, an award winning organisation that employs over 2500 people, we are seeking to recruit two Customer Advisor(s) to join their Support Services team at their Belfast office.

The Customer Advisor is responsible for recording customer and job request details on company systems and initiating appropriate responses in line with defined business processes to deliver excellent customer service. The job involves various tasks, including providing general administrative support, planning asset maintenance jobs and new connections, processing customer requests, verifying documentation, and inputting data into our management asset system. The Customer Advisor will also deal with inbound and outbound customer contacts regarding gas emergencies, asset maintenance programme updates, and other business-related enquiries.

You will need:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (Grade A-C) or equivalent to include English and Maths at Grade C or above
  • At least one year’s experience working within a customer service environment and dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • At least one year’s administrative experience.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative without supervision.
  • Ability to multitask various activities.
  • Excellent communication skills including a polite & friendly telephone manner.

What you can expect:

Salary:  £24,753.50 per annum with two 6 monthly increases taking salary to £25,753.50 per annum
