Account Manager- Insurance

Location: Belfast City Centre

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: Depending on experience £30000-£32000

Benefits include:

On behalf of our client, a Global insurance service provider, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the commercial team in Belfast.

Ideally you will have experience in commercial insurance however the employer will consider individuals from a personal lines background.

The postholder will join a dynamic and growing office with an excellent reputation as employers. Within the organisation you can expect support, training and development to enable you to expand your expertise,

Duties include:

  • Place all types of commercial risks within the market.
  • Provide expert and prompt advice to clients regarding their insurance needs
  • Liaise as appropriate with insurer partners.
  • Maintain the highest quality of customer service levels by prompt, customer-focused, professional servicing of client accounts by efficient Mid-Term-Adjustments and customer queries.
  • File Management – ensure individual client cases are completed promptly, effectively, accurately and fully.
  • Ensure client confidentiality is maintained and protected at all costs.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

You will need:

  1. Previous account handling experience within insurance. Preferably Commercial or corporate but the employer will consider personal lines.
  2. Experience dealing with technical insurance issues
  3. Experience dealing with a diverse client base on risks of various sizes and complexity
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people at all levels using a variety of communication channels
  5. CII qualified (or working towards exams)
