Job Title: Reach Truck Driver – Warehouse Team
Location: Mallusk, Newtownabbey
Duration: Full time, permanent opportunities available (initial temporary contract during training)
Salary: £12.21 – £13.02 per hour basic, with potential to earn up to £17.58 per hour
Working Pattern: Mon – Thurs (10hr shifts)
Apple Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for Reach Truck Drivers to join their warehouse team in Mallusk, Newtownabbey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation where your hard work is recognised and rewarded, with real opportunities for progression.
During the initial training period, you will be employed on a temporary contract with full mentoring. Permanent contracts and company benefits are available following training.
The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will support warehouse operations by operating a reach truck safely and efficiently, helping to move and store goods within the warehouse while supporting overall operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck to move and store goods within the warehouse
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
About You
The successful candidate will be reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively within a busy warehouse environment.
Essential Criteria
- Valid Forklift licence
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive and motivated with the ability to work as part of a team
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment
