Senior Civil Engineer – Water
Full time, Permanent, Belfast.
Apple Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our client who specializes in delivering water and/or wastewater projects. This includes experience with pipelines, treatment plants, and pumping stations throughout the detailed design process.
The organization is involved in a variety of sectors and boasts a notable pipeline of secured projects, making it a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a talented team. Key responsibilities include:
– Leading engineering design and technical outputs for projects or service areas.
– Preparing technical documentation and issuing designs, documents, approvals, and reports.
– Acting as the first point of contact for clients, contractors, and other project consultants. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are therefore essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Chartered Engineer status (or currently working towards it).
– BEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent).
– A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate work experience in a similar environment.
– Previous experience in an engineering-based consultancy.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
