HR Officer
Location: Greater Belfast.
Salary: £37000- 42000 pro rata plus a bonus structure of up to 15%.
Hours: 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and between 8.30am and 4.30pm on Fridays.
(37 hours per week). Applicants who request part time hours will also be considered.

On behalf of our client, an award-winning Northern Ireland organisation, we have a new opportunity
for an HR Advisor to join their HR Team.
This is a critical role within the organisation and the HR Advisor will be supporting the HR Manager to
provide excellent core HR, professional development and health & wellbeing services across all
business areas.
The Senior HR Advisor will motivate and engage the HR Team and be responsible for ensuring that
the HR Team are delivering in core areas across the employee lifecycle to include:
Recruitment and Selection
Onboarding / Offboarding
Absence Management
HR Administration
Equality Commission submissions (Annual monitoring & Article 55)
Security Clearance
HR Training Cycle
The HR Advisor will also provide professional advice, guidance and support to Managers and Staff on
HR policies and procedures. You will be supporting Line Managers and other HR team members with
employee relations issues such as grievances, investigations and disciplinary hearings. The HR
Advisor will foster a culture that promotes employee engagement whereby employees are motivated
to give their best each day and contribute to the success of the organisation and develop, maintain,
review and where applicable update HR Policies and procedures.
Managing the payroll activities is also a key duty in this role. This will include the full oversight of the
payroll function and will involve hands-on processing of payroll.
You will need:
Degree educated in a relevant HR field or holds a CIPD qualification.
5+ years’ experience in an HR generalist position across full HR lifecycle.
Associate level CIPD (Level 5 or above).
CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification and / or CIPP membership is
desirable but not essential.
Experience of advising managers and participating in all aspects of recruitment including
advertising, short listing, interviewing and selection.
Experience of handling employee relations matters such as disciplinary and grievances.
Experience of absence management to include recording, monitoring and advising managers
on absence process.
