Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Belfast (BT7)
Salary Band: Band 8A
Type: Full-time, Temporary. 3 months with the possibility of extension
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join a leading health and social care regulatory organisation based in Belfast. Reporting to the Head of Programme, the successful candidate will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of strategic reviews and corporate projects that impact services across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level programme and project leadership across health and social care reviews.
Advise executive management on strategic initiatives and corporate projects.
Develop governance structures, identify and mitigate risks, and support performance improvement.
Manage project teams and resources to deliver outcomes aligned with corporate objectives.
Represent the organisation at internal and external meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Lead professional supervision, staff development, and training of project management staff.
Essential Criteria:
Degree or equivalent with 3+ years in a senior management role OR 5+ years in senior management.
PRINCE2 Foundation qualification (Practitioner level experience desirable).
Minimum 2 years managing formal projects using a recognised methodology.
Strong report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of HSC services, governance, risk, quality assurance, and relevant legislation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments considered for disability).

Ability to work to fixed deadlines and in high-pressure environments.
Strong leadership, judgement, and confidence-inspiring communication.
