Site Manager – Commercial Fit-Out
Location: Northern Ireland (with travel to ROI & UK as required)
Salary: £40,000 – £47,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Package: Company van & fuel card, allowances, medical insurance, BUPA cashplan & pension
Apple Recruitment is delighted to be working with a growing and well-respected commercial fit-out contractor who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their expanding site team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a range of innovative and high-quality projects.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of fit-out projects across Northern Ireland, with occasional travel to the Republic of Ireland and the wider UK.
You will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple sub-contractors and coordinating site activities
- Liaising with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing daily site operations and progress against programme
- Scheduling and procurement of materials
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Interpreting drawings and specifications with strong attention to detail
- Leading and managing site teams effectively
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in commercial fit-out site management
- Strong organisational and people management skills
- Experience managing programmes and site schedules
- Excellent communication skills with clients and sub-contractors
- Strong Health & Safety awareness and compliance
- IT literate
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel across NI, ROI, and the UK when required
Desirable Criteria
- First Aid Training
- Experience in high-end joinery
- CSCS / CSR / SMSTS certification
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or overtime when required
- Experience using Procore software
