Team Leader – Short Breaks Residential Service
Permanent | Full-time | £15.19 per hour | 40 hrs/week
(Evenings and weekends may be required)
Location: Downpatrick
Are you a passionate leader who loves making a difference? Our client, a third-sector organisation supporting adults with learning difficulties, is looking for a Team Leader to join their Short Breaks residential service.
In this role, you’ll lead and motivate a team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll manage rotas, support staff development, oversee training, and maintain standards in line with RQIA and NISCC guidelines. You’ll also work hands-on as a practice leader, ensuring every service user receives the best possible support.
What we’re looking for:
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience with adults with learning difficulties or vulnerable groups
- Experience supervising a team (paid or voluntary)
- Strong leadership, communication, and ICT skills
- Full UK driving licence or reliable transport
- Registered or eligible to register with NISCC
