<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>As Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing high quality, accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders, including the preparation of regular reports for senior management</li>
<li>Delivering expert financial advice and guidance to budget holders on budgeting and in-year financial monitoring</li>
<li>Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders as required Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and the costing of research and business development opportunities</li>
<li>Promoting the safeguarding of public funds by ensuring financial probity, regularity and value for money</li>
<li>Supporting the establishment and maintenance of internal control systems and governance frameworks, including the development of relevant policies and procedures</li>
<li>Assisting in the development and implementation of financial systems to support financial management and reporting</li>
<li>Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of public expenditure planning, monitoring, control and accountability systems</li>
<li>Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts and liaising with auditors as required</li>
<li>Reviewing and assessing business cases and supporting investment appraisal processes</li>
<li>Managing the resources within your own section</li>
<li>Promoting high standards of accountability, integrity and probity, and providing professional financial advice to support decision-making</li>

<p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p>
<p>Client &amp; Relationship Management</p>
<ul>
<li>Act as a supporting point of contact for clients, residents, and management company directors Respond promptly and professionally to calls, emails, and correspondence Attend AGMs and Directors’ meetings and provide support as required Provide updates via letters, email, or client portal depending on preference</li>
</ul>
<p>Property &amp; Development Support</p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with site visits and regular inspections of communal areas Identify maintenance issues and escalate appropriately Support multiple developments, managing tasks and deadlines effectively Work closely with senior colleagues to maintain high standards of property management</li>
</ul>
<p>Contractor &amp; Administrative Support</p>
<ul>
<li>Liaise with contractors and service providers under guidance Assist in raising job orders and monitoring work completion Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and reports Support budgeting, billing, and expenditure tracking</li>

<li>Excellent Interpersonal Skills – confident engaging with clients, residents, directors, and contractors</li>
<li>Organised and Multi-Tasker – able to manage multiple developments, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously</li>
<li>Willing to Learn and be Mentored – open to guidance from senior colleagues and eager to develop professionally</li>
<li>Professional Communication Skills – able to respond to emails, calls, and correspondence promptly and accurately</li>
<li>Strong Administrative Skills – confident using Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Attention to Detail – able to use Excel for P&amp;L and balance sheets</li>
<li>Proactive and solution-focused mindset</li>
<li>Driving Requirements – Full Driving Licence and over 25 for insurance purposes, able to travel to multiple developments; or own car for business purposes if under 25</li>
<li>Right to Work – permanent UK work rights or indefinite leave to remain</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable</p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in property management or client-facing roles</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of property or development processes</li>
<li>Competent in property management systems</li>
</ul>
