On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an Account Manager to join their team in a world-renowned insurance brokerage. Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Account Executives and New Business Executives in the overall servicing of clients’ policies.
- Effectively managing all renewals and adjustments
- Accurately preparing client and market documentation
- Obtaining quotations both for new and renewal business
- Checking policy documentation for accuracy prior to issue to the client
- Identifying the risk exposures and advising on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Account Executive/Partner
- Manage national corporate clients, and if appropriate, co-ordinate global insurance programmes and liaise with network worldwide
- Servicing the insurance needs of clients from a variety of sectors
Criteria
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients, insurers and associates
- Previous experience and qualifications within commercial insurance.
- Eagerness to continue to develop knowledge of the business’s products and related issues
- Apt understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar
- Professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Typing and keyboard skills
- Time management skills
- Problem-solving skills
