The Role
Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll support the installation, maintenance and
replacement of domestic gas meters and related gas assets throughout the Greater Belfast area.
Following completion of your training programme, you’ll continue developing your skills and may
progress into emergency response duties, becoming part of a vital 24/7 service that helps keep
customers safe.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Good communication skills
Basic IT skills
Strong focus on safety and customer service
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable and professional approach to work
Desirable
Experience in plumbing, heating, maintenance, utilities, construction or engineering
Apprenticeship, vocational or trade qualification
STEM-related qualification
Customer service experience
Mechanical or technical experience
Knowledge of gas, heating or utility services
No gas qualifications? No problem. Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate
the right attitude, commitment and aptitude to succeed.
